Mia is a registered patent attorney focusing on helping inventors and companies with their Intellectual Property needs. Her practice is primarily focused on prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications and advising clients on patent portfolio management and other intellectual property matters. Her practice also includes conducting patentability studies, infringement and invalidity analyses, and rendering opinions for the same. Mia has partnered with many different types of clients, ranging from individual inventors to large corporate clients. Her experience positions her to quickly learn the business and technology of the client and provide support to meet their IP needs.
Mia’s technical knowledge spans software and hardware areas including, web-based applications, search engines, graphical user interfaces, databases, wireless network management, network encryption systems, personal media devices, network processors and packet processing methodologies, web-based advertising, remote computing, virtualization technologies, cloud computing, wireless analytics, messaging systems and pharmacy benefit management systems, wireless standards, wireless charging devices, and web security.
Mia is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. She is also a member of the Georgia Asian Pacific Bar Association and the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers.
